Position Title: Life Enrichment Director
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:
Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates recreational activity programs to meet the needs and interests of residents in all levels of care on the eliseo campus, and their families. Directs and oversees the administration of the Life Enrichment Department within authority of established laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and budgets by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

Required Qualifications:
5+ years’ related experience in health care setting.
2+ years’ experience in a coordinator or director level position.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in recreation, social work, health administration, or another related field.
Certification by the National Council for Activity Professionals.

Essential Duties:
Administers, monitors and controls department budget. fiscal operations for the Life Enrichment Department
Develops assessments and written care plans to promote non-pharmacological interventions and activity programs for an assigned case load including one-to-one interactions and group programs.
Maintains documentation required by State and Federal regulations including initial activity assessments, such as MDS, daily resident participation records; monthly, quarterly, and annual progress notes and reviews.
Develops, recommends, and implements policies and procedures as may be required to enhance the well-being of all eliseo residents and employees.
Participates in Community Life Department and eliseo internal committees as well as other committees designated by the C.E.O or Community Life Director.
Administers resident problem resolution processes, taking necessary action to control or eliminate the recurrence of complaints, concerns, and problems.
Maintains oversight of life enrichment activities and activity calendars for all levels of care and housing on the eliseo campus.
