Hospice Administrator

Wesley has an immediate need for a Hospice Administrator (Director) to be responsible for the growth and oversight of daily operations of Wesley Hospice.

Based at Corporate location of Wesley in South Puget Sound of Washington state, this year the Wesley Hospice Program was honored with a coveted spot on the 2019 HomeCare Elite successful providers list for excellence in the United States. This is an exciting opportunity to take our established, two year Hospice Program to its next level of excellence.

In this leadership role build, improve and implement standard systems to the Hospice Program to meet financial, regulatory, and clinical compliance requirements; maintain adequate staffing and ensure that standards of care comply with federal and state regulations and industry guidelines.The Hospice Director establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote standards of quality and contribute to the total organization performance and mission of Wesley Homes. The position reports to the Executive Director of Wesley Homes Community Health Services, and works collaboratively with Wesley programs, campuses, and the Hospice interdisciplinary group (IDG).

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• Strong business and marketing background
• 3-5 years hospice or home health management and/or skilled care marketing experience
• Strong background in growing and managing a Medicare-certified healthcare program
• Experience with budgetary responsibilities
• Broad knowledge of hospice federal and state regulations/administration
• Outstanding leadership, managerial skills
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and assertiveness

Education Background
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• MBA strongly preferred
• Professional licensure in WA state optional, not required.
