Tenny Creek Assisted Living is a brand-new build, scheduled to be completed and opened in February 2022. Tenny Creek is a 40-unit community located in Vancouver, Washington, and will be home to individuals exiting homelessness.

We are seeking an Executive Director to start this new team! You will be supported by us, Concepts in Community Living, the management support/operator for Tenny Creek. We are looking for immediate placement into this position. You will work on building your new team that will be ready to roll and serve our residents come February 2022.

Our Executive Director should, first and foremost, have a passion for helping others and be able to positively impact those around them. This includes someone that truly enjoys helping our residents live a better, more comfortable life and has patience, understanding and is empathetic. This position is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of Tenny Creek. Day-to-day responsibilities include helping ensure Tenny Creek’s budget and occupancy goals are being met as well as maintaining appropriate staffing levels and overall resident satisfaction of services and the care they receive. A successful candidate will be someone that has experience in Assisted Living and/or Memory Care/RCF environment.

Qualifications: Must hold a current/valid Administrators License in the State of Washington. Must pass a background check prior to hire or within the time allowed according to state hiring requirements to remain as the Executive Director. Minimum three years’ management in healthcare administration; preferred degree in Healthcare Administration or Business. Deep knowledge and understanding of Washington’s Assisted Living regulations, quality standards and referral sources. Must understand the process of budgeting and have staffing experience. Proficiency with Windows applications such as Excel and Outlook.

We believe in the growth and development of our Executive Directors. We provide educational opportunities throughout the year which includes participation in annual Leading Age conferences, semi-annual CCL conferences (Spring and Fall) and other opportunities throughout the year for CEU credits.
