Enrich the lives of older adults through community, choice, and continuing care in the Director of People Operations role. The Director of People Operations will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of HR operations within the mini-Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of HR services. Equally important, this role will serve as a problem solver to bring field-based operational requests to life (past examples include centralized TB testing, centralized temporary labor portal, HRIS-based compliance reporting, SOPs and DOH/DSHS survey compliance support). This role requires an experienced, certified HR professional with a strong background in HR operations, process improvement, strategic planning, relationship management and change management. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive initiatives to enhance HR service and delivery, and play a key role in assimilating the company’s people strategies into everyday operations. You will provide continuing care through these responsibilities
Essential functions of this position include the following.
1. HR Process Optimization:
• Evaluate, streamline, and optimize HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence both internal and external to the HR function.
2. Data and Analytics:
• Performs advanced analysis of relevant data to proactively identify trends that present risks to organizational strategy or support strategic workforce planning.
• Utilize HR metrics, analytics and dashboards to inform strategy, decision-making and drive business insights.
• Develop dashboards and present findings on HR operational performance to leadership.
3. Technology and Systems Management:
• Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of HR systems and technology.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure seamless integration and utilization of HR tools.
• Collaborate with the HRIS team to maximize HCM capabilities and drive adoption of self-service.
4. Compliance and Risk Management:
• Stay abreast of relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate HR-related risks.
• Conduct HR-related audits.
5. Benefits Support
• Collaborate with the Benefits team and Broker to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support ongoing benefits education and open enrollment.
6. Talent Acquisition Support:
• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a simple and mobile friendly candidate experience plus seamless preboarding and onboarding process.
• Contribute to talent acquisition strategies and employee value proposition.
7. Budget Support:
• Manage and reconcile the HR operations budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
8. People Management
• Supervise, lead, engage and develop team members within the mini-Centers of Excellence
• Create a strong sense of belonging for employees by modeling and championing the company’s people strategies.

Our requirements and qualifications for success
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related field or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on HR operations, Change Management or HR systems administration.
• HR certification (i.e. SPHR, SHRM-SCP, sHRBP, etc.)
• Strong relationship management skills to influence end users and build long-term relationships.
• Prior experience configuring HR technology (HRIS, ATS, third-party cloud-based software, etc.); Dayforce experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Proven experience in HR process improvement and optimization.
• Demonstrated success in implementing and managing HR systems.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills; PMQ certification a plus.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to Lean methodology and continuous improvement.

Salary Range: $74,588.80 – $107,494.40 per year
