Rose Villa is seeking a full time Director of Strategic Operations to join our team!

Position Summary:
The Director of Strategic Operations serves as a member of Rose Villa’s Leadership Team(s). This position manages the Food & Beverage, Facilities Services, and Information Technology departments.
This position manages day-to-day operations of department functions as well as maintenance and renovations of Rose Villa’s 22-acre campus, including the physical plant. This position is responsible for contributing to departmental and company-wide strategic oversight, short and long term planning, and growth outcomes. This position is responsible for ongoing staff training programs and legal compliance of all applicable county, state, and federal rules and regulations as mandated for operating a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), licensed nursing facility, and licensed assisted living facility.

Who we need:
• A person who does not subscribe to a “we have always done it that way” approach.
• A person who is equipped to be responsible for the daily operations, strategic oversight and growth of assigned departments and to Rose Villa, Inc.
• A person who is motivated to develop and implement operational, short, and long-term planning initiatives for assigned departments and for Rose Villa, Inc.
• A person who is equipped to ensure Rose Villa, Inc. remains in compliance with all Clackamas County, State of Oregon, and federal rules and regulations for operating a CCRC, nursing home, and assisted living settings, including specific requirements to meet the standards set by The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and all other applicable regulatory bodies. This includes Rose Villa’s Emergency Response Plan and Fire/Life/Safety plans and documentation for the company.
• A person who is adept at building teams; fostering trust with staff, residents, families, and vendors; and developing, updating, implementing, and enforcing policies and procedures.

Wage and benefits:
• This is a full-time exempt position, 40 hours per week, primary workweek is M-F, 24/7 management responsibility.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing complex facilities operations and associated rules and regulations
• At least 5 years of experience managing complex IT systems.
• At least 5 years of experience training, supervising, and managing employees.
• At least 5 years of experience implementing and training OSHA requirements.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with an insurable record.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check
• All Rose Villa employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in accordance with OAR 333-019-1010

Preferred:
• At least 10 years of experience in the above areas
• At least 5 years of experience managing commercial kitchen equipment operations
• At least 5 years of operating a saline swimming pool
