We are a 116-bed, not-for-profit, long-term-care home, offering 24-hour skilled nursing care and services in a family like environment, enhanced with a committed spirit of love and a tradition of excellence since 1920. This position is located in Seattle, Washington.
The Director of Nursing Services is responsible for the 24 hour clinical nursing program. The incumbent has the authority, responsibility and is accountable for providing excellent resident focused care in order for residents and patients to have the highest quality of life possible. Direct supervision of nurse managers, therapy manager, scheduler, and supply NAC.

Skills Required:
• Current Washington State RN license
• Knowledge of Washington state nurse practice laws and Federal guidelines governing long term care
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a BSN or related higher graduate degree.
• At least 3 years experience in a healthcare setting, long term care preferred
• Previous DNS experience
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead an interdisciplinary team
• Excellent nursing clinical skills
• Detail orientated
• CPR/1st Aid certification or ability to obtain
• Knowledgeable of quality control improvement systems
• Ability to manage budgets
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
