About the Role
We’re seeking a Director of Resident Services to lead our Clinical and Resident Services department. This is more than a management job—it’s a mission-critical leadership role guiding care delivery across our communities. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Administrator to ensure clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and exceptional resident outcomes.

You’ll need to be a confident decision-maker, a collaborative leader, and a compassionate advocate for residents and staff alike.

What You’ll Do
Plan, organize, and direct all functions of the Clinical and Resident Services Department.

Lead and mentor care staff to ensure quality service, regulatory compliance, and positive outcomes.

Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to drive both clinical excellence and operational success.

Monitor resident health and safety, making timely and appropriate care decisions.

Ensure resident rights are protected and that every individual receives dignified, person-centered care.

Oversee onboarding, training, and performance for nursing and care staff.

Build strong relationships with residents, families, providers, and regulators.

Participate in audits, surveys, and inspections with confidence and preparedness.

What You’ll Need
✅ Current Washington RN or LPN license in good standing (no restrictions).

✅ Minimum 3 years of professional nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

✅ Knowledge of vulnerable adult care and Washington boarding home regulations (or willingness to quickly learn).

✅ Experience in a licensed boarding home or assisted living is highly preferred.

✅ Strong decision-making skills, particularly in resident care scenarios.

✅ Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.

✅ Strong written and verbal communication skills—you’ll be working with families, physicians, staff, and state officials.

✅ Passion for mentoring, teaching, and developing others in a collaborative team environment.
