Director of Nursing

Our Nurse Manager leads by example, helps drive a positive culture, and is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all nursing care prescribed and provided to the resident.

Our Director of Nursing:
· Responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Nursing care provided on the shift.
· Participates in pre-admissions assessments for potential residents.
· Participates in all staff development programs to expand and develop abilities.
· Maintains compliance with all personnel policies, and established community policies and procedures.
· Performs admission and periodic assessments on residents for functional and mental abilities.
· Monitors resident restorative nursing programs.
· Supports and maintains harmonious relations and communicates with family, visitors, and all members of the health Team.
· Assists residents with meeting their nutritional/hydration needs and documents on the Nursing record appropriately.
· Maintains a safe, clean, orderly, homelike environment for residents.
· Answers residents’ call lights promptly.
· Participates in risk management and quality assurance programs for the entire community.
· Assist with assignment-making for team members and follow-up to ensure high standards of care and documentation of such care.
· Other duties as assigned or may be necessary for an organization having overlapping roles and responsibilities.

What you’ll need to succeed!

· Graduation from an accredited nursing program
· Current and valid RN License
· 2 years or more of supervisory experience preferred
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
· Ability to use basic computer programs.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and external constituents.
Nursing: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
RN (Required)

Salary: $32.00 – $46.00 per hour
