Franke Tobey Jones, a not for profit Continuing Care Retirement Community, is celebrating 90+ years in Tacoma as a leader in providing senior residential services, a supportive continuum of care, and innovative community outreach. We are currently seeking a leader for our Human Resources and Payroll services.

Reporting to the President/CEO this position serves as an integral member of the senior management team. This position provides guidance and direction on strategic human resources programs and policies, employee and labor relations, payroll process oversight, benefits, employment policy & procedure and legal compliance.

• Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum Required Experience: A least ten years of progressive experience in the field including payroll and hands-on employee and labor relations experience. (Experience in non-profit, healthcare and/or long-term care industry is preferred not required.)
• Minimum Required Skills and Abilities: Must have a broad and in-depth knowledge of human resource and payroll functions, administration of same and compliance expertise. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver innovative solutions are required as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced ADP and Office 365 skills are required.
• Required Licenses/Certifications: SPHR/PHR preferred.
