JOB OVERVIEW:
The incumbent is responsible for preparation of food within applicable state and local regulations and established company policy.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Ability to understand and take direction from the Dining Manager and Dietitian.
• Ensures that all dining procedures are followed in accordance with state health codes, regulations and company protocols.
• Provides cheerful customer service for all residents and family members.
• Inspects special diet trays to assure that the correct diet is served to the resident.
• Prepares meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance, and are in accordance with planned menus.
• Serves food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Reviews care plans to assure that current dining information is consistent with foods served.
• Ensures food and supplies for the next meal are readily available. Reports discrepancies to the Dining Manager in a timely fashion.
• Assists with inventory and storing incoming food, supplies and equipment.

PREREQUISITES:

• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to write clearly, concisely and accurately.
• Skilled in interpersonal relationships.
• Ability and willingness to work with a diverse population.
• High School diploma or equivalent life experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Washington Food Handler’s license.

Full-time: 5:00am – 1:30pm – $600.00 SIGNING BONUS!
