Job Description/Essential Duties: The incumbent is responsible for nurturing relationships with existing Donors and building relationships among a variety of stakeholders to raise awareness of Columbia Lutheran Home’s mission in support of the organization’s development goals. 

Under the general direction from the CEO/Executive Director, the incumbent works independently and within general guidelines to support the fund raising goals of the organization using a relationship management approach. This includes using various methods to identify opportunities, network among various constituents and expand relationships with prospective and existing Donors. 

  • Act as an ambassador in the community to raise awareness of Columbia Lutheran’s mission as a basis for increasing financial support for the organization.
  • Expand the organization’s base of supporters and network through personal meetings, presentations, events and social media.
  • Plan and execute events, manage content on social media and web.
  • Maintain Donor database, analyze data for opportunities and generate reports as needed. Responsible for all Donor acknowledgements and tax receipts.
  • Develop an annual plan for events, media and communications.

Required Education/Training/Experience or Special Skills:  Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field. Minimum of three years’ experience, preferably in a long term care environment.
