Rose Villa is seeking a full time Chief Financial Officer (CF0) to join our team!

The position – what you’ll do:
The CFO at Rose Villa is a forward thinking; strategic, mission and service-driven leader. This position is a key member of Rose Villa’s executive leadership team, works collaboratively with Rose Villa’s Board of Directors and is the financial liaison to the Rose Villa Resident Council. The CFO is responsible for all Rose Villa’s accounting and financial management including strategic planning, budgeting, preparing, analyzing, and presenting monthly financial reports, audits, cash flow, investments, and risk management. Our next CFO must be dedicated to ensuring the financial health of Rose Villa into perpetuity so that we can continue to serve our residents and the greater community.
Your Responsibilities:
• Ensure the financial health of the organization. Manage financial performance by developing long range plans and forecasts and monitoring performance against plan. Ensure forward visibility and provide monthly financial reports.
• Assist the organization in making strategic decisions by providing modeling and financial analysis
• Direct the annual budgeting process in a manner that is thoughtful, well communicated, and resident oriented.
• Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting required for funding sources.
• Oversee banking and investment activities and actively manage cash flow.
• Assist in managing the negotiation and execution of contracts with funding sources, vendors, and collaborative service providers.
• Coordinate auditing plans and ensure that thorough independent audits are completed on a timely basis. Use audit results to make adjustments and improvements.
• Identify and manage business risks. Set strategies for risk management programs and liability insurance.

• A person who can maintain and administer robust internal controls which preserve and protect the organization’s financial assets.
• Someone who is motivated to develop and implement short, and long-term financial initiatives.
• A person that can perform high level, strategic financial work while being willing to dive into the day-to-day procedures.
• A person who is energized by process improvement and gleaning of efficiencies through streamlining processes and leveraging technology.
• Strong technological competence. Experience evaluating and implanting new technology.
• A person who is adept at building teams; fostering trust with staff, residents, families, and vendors; and developing, updating, implementing, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Exceptional people leadership skills including a strong affinity for the work of a good people manager, such as coaching and mentoring. Ability to listen well and center others
• A person who values collaboration, is a strong contributor, and who is eager to make a difference in the lives of elders.

Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree is required. MBA, CPA or CMA License is preferred.
• 10 years of experience leading an accounting team.
• Prior work experience in senior living or a nonprofit is preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check
• All Rose Villa employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in accordance with OAR 333-019-1010
