Activities Coordinator

Cascade Park GARDENS is seeking FULL-TIME Activities Coordinator

who enjoys working with seniors. The successful candidate will demonstrate: creativity, imagination, resourcefulness, and enthusiasm. For the highly adaptive person, this role will be an exciting combination of planning and implementing programs with an element of caregiving.

Please ONLY apply if you meet these minimum requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in recreational therapy or a related field and one year of experience (full-time equivalent) in social or health service
OR an associate degree in recreational therapy or a related field plus two years of appropriate experience
OR three years of paid experience in an activity program and expertise with the population served at the facility
Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective supervisory skills with the ability to direct the work of others
Have a desire to work with the elderly in an environment that upholds their privacy, dignity, choice, independence, and individuality
Have the ability to recognize and address problems promptly and appropriately
Possess appropriate communication skills to foster and maintain positive relations with residents, families, physicians, state officials, Company staff, and outside healthcare agencies
Able and willing to work flexible hours to meet the requirements of the job
Good character and a continuing reputation of personal integrity
Desire to deliver exceptional customer service that PRODUCE SMILES from our residents
