University of Washington, Tacoma: Healthcare Workforce Symposiums July 6th and August 2nd

At this moment in time when we are experiencing a critical shortage in trained healthcare providers and that shortage is being exacerbated by the impacts of COVID, we want to make a positive influence on the health of our region. This symposium is a collaborative effort to prioritize the critical healthcare workforce development needs in Pierce County and utilize data to drive future legislative requests. Two meetings will convene participants to create a legislative agenda for Pierce County’s healthcare workforce training needs.

PARTICIPANTS

Pierce County healthcare providers, community and technical colleges, higher education institutions, workforce development, county, and city officials
