Governor Inslee is currently scheduled to announce the reopening plan for long term care on Thursday afternoon. The press conference will likely begin at 2:30 pm, but please visit TVW the day of to confirm. While the announcement will discuss criteria for beginning visitation, the new proclamation will not be released until the following Monday. This means that even if you meet the requirements to allow visitors in your building, visitation will still be prohibited until the new proclamation is released. We’ve asked the Governor’s office to make it clear during the press conference that families cannot enter the building immediately following the announcement. Please relay that information to any family members asking to come visit.

If you have not already started, we urge all members to finalize their visitation policy so that it’s ready to go ahead of the reopening announcement.
