In June, the department issued ALTSA: NH #2019-013 regarding the shortage of APLISOL®, a purified-protein derivative (PPD) tuberculin skin test antigen, and recommendations for providers to address the shortage. The letter is amended to include the following:

UPDATE: The nationwide shortage now includes TUBERSOL® (PPD) tuberculin skin test antigen.

 Recommendations in the letter are applicable to the shortage of both APLISOL® and TUBERSOL®.
