LTC Waivers Extended Until the End of the State of Emergency

LTC Waivers Extended Until the End of the State of Emergency

The concurrent resolution, SCR 8402, has passed both the House and Senate. This means all of the current Governor proclamations are extended until the end of the state of emergency or until rescinded by gubernatorial or legislative action, whichever occurs first, including all of the waivers for long term care. This is great news as it now provides us with the needed time to pass HB 1120, making the necessary statutory changes covered in the LTC waivers. Additionally, the extension of the waivers through the end of the state of emergency allows providers the continued and needed flexibility to respond to the COVID pandemic, also addressed in HB 1120
