Enhanced Barrier Precautions for Skilled Nursing Facilities
Enhanced Barrier Precautions (EBP) are infection control measures that help protect both nursing home staff members and residents from multi-drug resistant organism (MDRO) infections.
Please join us for an educational presentation on Enhanced Barrier Precautions on Wednesday, February 1st at 11:00 AM. In this presentation, we will discuss when residents should be placed on EBP, what PPE should be worn and when it should be worn when a resident is on EBP, and how to best implement EBP in your facility. We will go over frequently asked questions about EBP, and there will be ample time at the end of the presentation for questions and discussion.
Contact Laura Hofmann for Zoom link information.
Presentation will be led by Katelyn Anderson, RN, BSN
