Residents and staff of long-term care facilities (LTCF) are disproportionately affected by COVID19, with more outbreaks, cases, and deaths compared to acute care facilities. Memory care poses unique challenges for infection prevention best practices. This document contains suggested best practices based on memory care-facility specific experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic and includes some recommendations which may not be regulatory requirements.
