Vaccine Verification

LeadingAge Washington is committed to creating a safe and healthy event by requiring all attendees to verify vaccination from COVID-19.

While LeadingAge Washington encourages all attendees eligible to get a booster to do so before attending the conference, we are defining full vaccination as 2 weeks after completion of a two-dose mRNA series or one dose of Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccine. Each registrant will be asked to upload proof of vaccination on to the Accushield Vaccine Verification Portal.  If you do not upload your proof of vaccination before you arrive at the conference, please go to the vaccine verification desk located near the Registration desk. You must have proof of full vaccination to be permitted entry to the conference.

Click HERE to upload your vaccine information prior to arriving in Spokane.

LeadingAge Washington is making accommodations for those attendees with verifiable medical or religious exemptions.  If you wish to request a waiver to the vaccine verification policy, please have your company email an attestation of an approved exemption they have on file to If you have an exemption, you will be required to supply your own tests and test daily, as well as wear a KN95 or N95 mask when at the conference. (This includes speakers/presenters)

Negative test results or the presence of antibodies is not an acceptable alternative to vaccine verification unless you have an approved medical or religious exemption on file with LeadingAge WA. Those who do not have proof of vaccination or a company approved medical or religious exemption will not be permitted entry into the meeting.

Based on the latest CDC recommendations, we are only requiring masks be worn by those with exemptions on file.  If you are up to date or fully vaccinated, masks are optional. In education sessions, speakers may also choose to wear a face covering. Here is the Center for Disease Control (CDC)’s latest mask guidelines and information.

Social Distancing

We will maximize options for physical distancing as much as possible throughout the event.

  • All areas of the conference will embrace smart, socially distanced optional seating, allowing attendees to choose the physical distance that makes them the most comfortable.
  • A touchless badge pickup system will be available in more locations and longer hours to reduce crowding at registration.

Enhanced cleaning is a high priority throughout the event.

  • Ongoing sanitizing of high-traffic areas will happen throughout the conference including common areas, bathrooms, door handles and elevators.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the Grand Hotel.
