All employers are required to have a site-specific accident prevention program (APP.) This is usually one of the first things DOSH requests when they make an inspection. If you have an APP, the length of time it takes you to find the plan or the amount of dust on the binder the APP is in are often clues to the compliance officer as to whether the APP is being used by management.
