Intermediate Grant Writing Workshop

This workshop can stand alone or be combined with our beginner’s workshop – July 16th .  It is appropriate for those who have taken the beginner’s workshop and/or already have a basic understanding of how to write grants in aging services.  It too is a blend of short didactic content interspersed with interactive activities and includes handouts that participants can use as notes or templates to prepare their own proposals. The content includes:

  • More in-depth information on grant planning and writing common proposal elements than there was in the introductory session.
  • A review of sections of a mock Request for Proposal (RFP.)  The instructor will discuss which elements are critical to understand and what kind of planning activities and writing strategies are needed to respond.
  • Additional ideas and finding and working with funders.
