Blue was founded in 2015 when two of the principal studio leaders of a multi-discipline architecture office started their own firm in the Puget Sound area. The partnership brings exceptional planning and project management skills, together with award-winning design in a low-key, client-focused environment. With a history of success of both large and small-scale projects, and over 40 years of collective experience, they had a simple mission – to create well-designed projects with exceptional client relationships. Blue Architecture is a Washington licensed corporation, owned and managed by partners Matt King and Bob Guyt. Focused markets include senior living, healthcare, hospitality, mixed-use residential, multi-family housing, and community.

As LEED accredited professionals, Blue brings an awareness of sustainable technologies and processes in a cost-effective and client-driven manner. The firm has seen solid growth by combining deep experience and remarkable design skills with enthusiasm and energy.
