Theme: Change MakersThe 2026 LeadingAge Washington Annual Conference & Expo is the premier gathering for older adult services providers in the Pacific Northwest.
Join us June 1–3 in Wenatchee for 2+ days of education, special events, celebrations, an engaging Expo Hall, and countless networking opportunities. This year’s theme, Change Makers, highlights leaders and innovators who challenge convention and inspire progress across aging services. We invite you to share the strategies, stories, and ideas that are transforming the way Washington cares for, houses, and connects with older adults.
Where They Work:
Conference attendees come from throughout Washington’s aging-services continuum — including Life Plan Communities, assisted living, memory care support, skilled nursing facilities, adult day programs, and senior housing.
Who Attends:
Attendees range from direct-line staff and interdisciplinary team members to CEOs and senior executives. Most are experienced professionals seeking advanced, high-impact content; a smaller segment includes emerging leaders who value foundational and supervisory skills development.
Our members are hands-on leaders who expect:
- High-quality, interactive education grounded in real-world experience
- Advanced learning that draws out participants’ deep knowledge and expertise
- Foundational management and supervision skills for newer professionals
- Practical ideas and tools they can implement immediately
- Sessions free of sales or promotion — educational content only
Preference is given to sessions that are interactive, discussion-based, and action-oriented.
We seek proposals that:
- Provide innovative, practical solutions for aging-services providers
- Showcase collaboration, leadership, and change in action
- Reflect the diversity of organizations and roles across Washington’s continuum
Proposals may align with one or more of the following focus areas — or explore a new, forward-thinking idea:

- Workforce & Culture – Recruitment, retention, DEI, mental health, succession planning, and workplace belonging.
- Clinical & Service Excellence – QAPI, survey readiness, behavioral health, infection prevention, and person-centered or dementia-care innovation.
- Community & Storytelling – Resident engagement, collaboration, and communication strategies that strengthen mission and culture.
